I found this a while back and decided to share it. It goes over some of the key ranking factors and includes a list of the best directories to list your web site in. There are some good ones, and while a web site won't get great traffic from directories alone, it can help. So check out Strongest Link's best web directories list and maybe you'll find a nice place to get a link for your site. I know some more great directories that aren't listed here, but it's still a nice list. Take care!
